NHS Prescriptions

Dispensing NHS Prescriptions

Where applicable, Corrys Chemists dispenses NHS prescriptions in line with current regulations and professional standards. NHS prescriptions are commonly used for the ongoing management of long-term conditions as well as short-term treatments prescribed by a GP or other authorised healthcare professional.

Our pharmacy team ensures that NHS prescriptions are processed accurately and efficiently. We are also available to answer questions about your medication, explain how to take it correctly, and provide guidance on managing side effects or interactions.

If you require regular repeat prescriptions, we can help make the process simpler by offering ongoing support and advice.

Private Prescriptions

Private Prescriptions

Corrys Chemists welcomes the opportunity to fulfil all your private prescription needs. We carry a full stock of the specialist medications which are often prescribed on a private prescription.

Unfortunately counterfeit drugs are widely available, especially on the web. You can be assured that as a licensed and registered Pharmacy we only supply genuine medication obtained from approved suppliers.

Speak to one of our dispensary Pharmacy team or alternatively contact us by telephone or e-mail and ask us to provide you with a quote to supply your prescribed medication. Never purchase drugs from abroad or from unknown sources, and remember, if the price you are quoted on the internet for your private prescription looks too good to be true, it probably is too good to be true.

Free Prescription Collection

Collection Service

As a valued customer with regular medication needs, if you find your time is at a premium, why not ask about the Corrys Chemists free Prescription Collection Service.

At our Enniskillen branch, we also offer our PS24 (Pharmaself24) 24/7 prescription collection machine and convenient text messaging notification service, allowing you to collect your medicines at a time that suits you — even outside normal opening hours.

We can collect prescriptions from most local surgeries on your behalf. Simply call in, or contact us by phone or email with details of the items you require, and we will do the rest. Once the service is set up, there are four easy steps to follow:

  • Order your prescription from your Doctor and advise them that we will collect it.
  • Once you’ve ordered from your Doctor, contact the Pharmacy Team to let us know you have a prescription to be collected.
  • We’ll send you a text message when your prescription is ready (and provide a secure PIN if using PS24).
  • We collect, prepare and dispense your prescription — ready for in-branch collection or 24/7 PS24 collection.

It’s as simple as that.

Prescription Delivery

Delivery Service

We understand that visiting the pharmacy is not always possible. Our prescription delivery service offers a convenient solution for patients who need their medicines delivered to their home.

Prescription delivery may be particularly useful if you are housebound, unwell, caring for someone else, or managing a long-term condition. Deliveries are handled with care and discretion, ensuring your medicines arrive safely and securely.

All online orders are dispatched from the Castlederg branch.

Our pharmacy team can advise on delivery availability, timescales, and any conditions that may apply.

Patient Support

Medicine Advice, Long-Term Support & Compliance Aids

At Corrys Chemists, we provide clear, practical support to help you use your medicines safely and effectively. Our pharmacists are available to explain how and when to take your medication, manage side effects, check for interactions with other medicines or supplements, and advise on missed doses or long-term treatment plans.

For patients managing ongoing conditions such as diabetes, asthma, heart disease, arthritis or high blood pressure, we offer continued support to help you stay confident with your treatment. We can review your medication routine, provide adherence guidance and work alongside your GP or healthcare provider where appropriate.

For patients who take multiple medicines, we offer compliance solutions including dosette boxes, pill organisers and clear labelling. We also provide PillPacPlus, our structured medicine management service, where medicines are organised into clearly labelled sachets by day and time. This service helps reduce the risk of missed or incorrect doses and provides reassurance for patients and carers.

If you are ever unsure about your medication, speak with a member of our pharmacy team. Asking questions helps ensure your treatment remains safe, effective and tailored to your needs.
